Community Action Forum

CAF is an open public meeting held every six to eight weeks which gives residents the opportunity to highlight any issues / concerns in their area. The meeting is regularly attended by representatives from Nottinghamshire Police, Oakwood Surgery as well as District and County Councillors and Neighbourhood Watch Groups.

Social Group

Members of the Social Group are responsible for organising the Party in the Park as well as the Christmas Event each year in June and December respectively.

Members of the community are encouraged to join and share their ideas to help keep events interesting and entertaining.

Christmas Lights

Fundraising for new community lighting, sourcing a Christmas tree for the Market Place along with organising the Christmas Lights Switch-On in November is amongst the roles of the Christmas Lights Sub-Group.

New members are welcome and encouraged.

Woodhouse Warbler

The Woodhouse Warbler is a quarterly newsletter created by MWCDG and delivered to over 9,000 homes in Mansfield Woodhouse. Members are responsible for receiving delivery of and sorting Warblers to distribute to volunteer deliverers. Deliverers are always needed, if you can help, please contact us.
